5 Books Every Entrepreneur Should Have on Their Shelf

Reading is a huge hobby of mine. I’m a total bookworm and I have been for as long as I can remember. I have an audio book playing while I work, while I’m doing doing chores at home, or even just for fun. It’s how I like to learn and be productive each and every day, no matter what.

So today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite, most life-changing books that I believe every girl boss should have on her shelf.

  1. Purple Cow by Seth Godin – This book focuses on building a brand that stands out based on your strengths and uniqueness! I love this book because it challenges us to really be willing to stand out and be different!

  2. Leave Your Mark:  Land Your Dream Job. Kill It in Your Career. Rock Social Media by Aliza Licht – With a focus on building your personal brand, this book is filled with sass, cleverness, and advice to navigate the contemporary working world.

  3. Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist – This book is a motivating and game-changing and a reminder that life is happening daily whether we are present for it or not. It has challenged me to be more present in my own life.

  4. Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis – Rachel left me laughing and feeling less alone. I got the audiobook and hearing Rachel’s voice, as she shared funny and personal stories, made it even more impactful; it felt like having a coffee date with a friend. This is a must read!

  5. The Creative Curve by Allen Gant – As a birthday present to myself, I bought this book. Reading it taught me that you don’t have to be a genius to be creative. It’s filled with fun anecdotes, and advice on creating ideas that blend familiarity and novelty to find success.

What is your favorite book? Let me know in the comments!
