Eryn is one of those real, authentic, no-B.S. people who make you breathe a little easier when you’re talking to them. She’s a storyteller at heart (same girl!), but instead of using words, she uses photography.
Eryn’s not about the perfectly posed photos; she’s about the genuine laughter, the tears, the glances that make your heart skip a beat. And she’s damn good at it. Eryn’s couples are real people—passionate, expressive, and beautifully imperfect—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

About the Project

THE PROBLEM

Eryn came to me with a vision as bold and unfiltered as she is—an overhaul of her website. She knew what she wanted her brand to say but needed the right words to say it. Her website needed a refresh that reflected her loud, fun-loving, and real approach to photography. And she was ready for comprehensive content to grow her brand and keep her voice consistent. We settled on developing her brand message, website, a compelling freebie for her audience, a welcome email nurture sequence that felt like a warm hug, and blog content that built trust and established her credibility.

MY APPROACH

From the moment we hopped on our first call, I knew Eryn was something special. We connected over our shared love for capturing life’s real, messy, beautiful moments. I wanted her words to be as authentic and heartfelt as her photos, so I got to know her—what she loves, what drives her, and how she connects with her clients.

Brand Messaging

First, we tackled her brand messaging strategy. I dug deep into understanding who she serves, the pain points her clients face, and how she is the perfect person to help them. We crafted a brand message that was uniquely hers and quick grab phrases she could pull from at any moment. I wanted her to feel confident and empowered to speak about her brand and services in a way that truly represented who she is.

Website Copywriting

Then, we moved on to her website copywriting. I wanted every page to scream Eryn’s story, from the heartfelt homepage to the passionate service descriptions. I thought about her ideal clients—those adventurous couples breaking the mold and trying something new. I wrote to them in a warm, relatable, and genuine voice. I highlighted Eryn’s personality and storytelling style while also addressing the needs of her target audience. You’ll see a few curse words, bold statements, and a lot of sass scattered across the pages—the exact style you’ll hear on an introductory call with Eryn herself.

Audience Nurturing

To further connect with her audience, we created a complementary freebie offering tips for taking more authentic photos. But a single PDF couldn’t be the end of that relationship. She needed a welcome email nurture sequence to deliver the freebie (while growing her email list) and strengthen that new relationship. The emails were written to feel like a series of love letters, each one welcoming new subscribers into Eryn’s world with open arms.

Blog Writing

Blogs have so many benefits, from building trust to helping users find your site through Google searches. But above all, Eryn wanted to share her heart and thoughts with those who connect with her work. So, I wrote two blogs filled with educational tips and honesty. Both posts are open invitations for readers to get insight as they search for the right wedding photographer and get to know Eryn on a deeper level so they feel like they’re part of her inner circle. Because, to quote Eryn’s about page, “It’s damn important you actually want to hang with your photographer all day.”

RESULTS

After the website went live, Eryn saw an immediate increase in inquiries. As of writing this, she only has 7 openings left for weddings for the next year!
Her audience connected with her authentic messaging and relatable personality, leading to more trust and stronger relationships with clients. The blog posts have also helped establish Eryn as a thought leader in the wedding photography industry, bringing in potential clients who resonate with her values and approach.
But beyond the numbers, Eryn now has a cohesive brand voice, quick-grab phrases, and the confidence that her words resonate with her ideal clients. She feels confident speaking about her brand and services, knowing that her words are aligned with her genuine self. And most importantly, she continues to attract clients who share her passion for capturing real, raw moments.
